Nokia CEO Eyes 5G Growth in China Amid Turnaround Plan

Apr.29 — Nokia Oyj CEO Pekka Lundmark said the Finnish company will take part in fifth-generation mobile network auctions in China in a bid to boost its market share in the country. Lundmark also discusses the North American market and the impact of a global semiconductor shortage in an interview on Bloomberg Television. Nokia’s first-quarter revenue rose 9% to 5.08 billion euros ($6.16 billion), beating the average analyst estimate of 4.72 billion euros, adding momentum to the CEO’s turnaround plan.
